Gallup, NM [Dec. 12th, 2012|09:48 pm]
The Image Collector
The old Route 66/Railroad towns across northern Arizona and New Mexico are a picturesque mix of gaudy Motels gone to seed and solid brick banks, hotels, and businesses built with railroad and mining dollars. Gallup is no exception, but sadly I wasn't there long enough or at the right time of day to really document much. I did get these three images which I like, however.

I have travelled this way many times, but you caught some great images. I suspect the Native Maiden is somewhat newer. Is it Gallup? That is a whole different story.. rags and riches.
