I read her bio and looked at some pictures of her work and came across this: "Aside from the 1939 acquisition by the Louvre, Kahlo's work was not widely acclaimed until decades after her death. Often she was remembered only as Diego Rivera's wife."
most of her widely distributed work is good. there was a lot i hadn't seen at the museum, including unfinished pieces, which i didn't judge, and a couple i thought were awful. i didn't take pictures of anything i didn't like, though.
