The Image Collector [Mar. 11th, 2011|09:03 am]
The Image Collector
For some reason, I am drawn to the process of decay. Things that are neglected, weathered, eroded, rotten, overgrown, and just plain old. Maybe it is the organic nature of decay slowly consuming the geometric precision of human construction, or maybe it is just the combination of colors, textures and shapes inherent to a thing being overtaken by entropy. Whatever the reason, I always seem to find decay worth collecting.

For the month of march I will be exhibiting twelve images representing this facet of my work at The Image Collector, my new gallery at 417 N. 4th Avenue, in Tucson. The April show will be "Juarez, January 2011", images collected over two days in the embattled Chihuahuan city.

good morning

Dear David,

I have not visited your site in a long while--it is wonderful. Send a picture to the site of the new gallery.

When you are willing to barter for room price let us know. I want to trade for the saltillo photo.
