"Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet

Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame Street..."

Such a kid-friendly, eco-house. :)

Dude, is this a commission or your own house? It looks fantastic, and I love the solar panels! Are you totally off the grid?

this is turning out really stunning. such bold color...if you were in my neighborhood i'd walk my dog down your street each day to check the progress in person!

How absolutely fabulous!! How different is it to farbelize on a structure the size of a house instead of canvas? I'd think it would be different, but exciting and wonderful as well.

the main difference is painting on bricks instead of canvas. i did a 10'x11' painting on canvas for a temporary mural downtown last year, so the size isn't as novel this time. painting with house paint is a bit frustrating though, as i have to paint several coats to get the farbels as opaque as i like. the first coat is fun, the others are work. it is a very satisfying project, though. glad you like it!

You really make me feel blessed and happy to be your friend with your house. If everyone had such colourful houses, just think of what walking/biking/driving through the neighbourhood would be like!

You really are an honour to know.

Does the city council or any of your neighbors give you any shit for that?

I know most people object to fine art when it comes to your home and what you do with it.

no, they have no right to. my neighbors love it. one of them even thanked me for increasing property values. i will never live in one of those disgusting walled communities that make you sign away the right to paint your house how you want.
