Purses.

Purses purses purses!

I'll be your first customer! Have you ever done them?

I see... a clear see-through vinyl type. Maybe some organic cotton totes. Perfect for the summer, the beach, light young at heart types... A fun weekend.

Ebay, here you come :)

i would paint somone's purse if they wanted, but it wouldn't be very practical.

I was thinking a cotton messenger bag.

You mean not practical for you, (in terms of time/effort? Or something else?) Or not practical for me (bags are very practical ;) )

i would just charge enough to make it practical. paint wouldn't lend itself to repeated scuffing, though. now if someone has the means to print fabric and wants to do it, i would be happy to license the designs.

It would look beautiful in a silk-like shimmery fabric.

Re: happy birthday!

wow.. that's strange and cool, all at once!
in relation to the above conversation, here is some silk stuff my mom made. i can see where it might be very fitting to your style:

i guess it would've been more helpful if you could see the size.. heh. the squiggly orange shape is about 1 and 1/2 inches long or two inches.

Re: nice

it's on a scarf (or a talit, if you're jewish). you use something like salt and dye... i'm not really too sure. you can get some of it at http://www.dharmatrading.com/silkpainting/
i hope you like the idea!
