The Image Collector
the anthropomorphic nature of this painting was quite unintentional. i started with a simple yellow circle, and it wasn't until i shot the first photograph of the canvas that i noticed what is obvious now.

Wow. That's really neat.

It's not just the happy face. It's like an optical illusion. I also see a trampoline, a telescope, a tree laying on its side, a river delta.

And the colors! I love the dark purple. And the yellow... I call that color "baby diarrhea yellow" because of the hint of brown in it :-)

i think i'll avoid that description :)

cadmium yellow medium. much richer and warmer than primary yellow.
